Monday - Friday
7:10 am - 3:10 pm

Students are always welcome in the library with a pass from their teacher.
​
Wednesdays are Open Library days. No formal classes are scheduled in order to give students full access to the library and it's resources. This is a great opportunity to work on research, group projects, or make-up work.

Library Mission Statement
It is the mission of the West Ashley Advanced Studies Magnet Library to ensure that all members of the HarborCat community have the opportunity to become independent, ethical, and critical users of information and ideas. To meet this goal, the Library at West Ashley ASM will:

Work to provide access to information and materials for all patrons;

Promote the development of multiple literacies (digital, visual, technological, etc.);

Partner with educators and community organizations to implement instructional strategies that meet the needs of all of our students

This will be my 4th year at West Ashley Advanced Studies Magnet and I'm so excited for another great one! I love the students, teachers, parents, and community members here. I look forward to a year of collaboration, research, and READING!
